The 3 winners of this year’s competition were….
1st place Auchenblae P7 = 3.15kg – received a £100 garden centre voucher
2nd place Marykirk = 1.67kg – received a £50 garden centre voucher
3rd place Fettercairn P3 = 1.64kg – received a £25 garden centre voucher
Thank you again to all schools that competed in this year’s Young Grampian Growers potato competition! This year we had 10 schools participating with 43 teams in total which is excellent!!
We were a bit nervous that the weather may slowed down the crop however we have harvested and collected some bumper yields!
