This week, a group consisting of 5 Grampian Growers staff and 9 of our next-generation members travelled to Cornwall to visit our daffodil flower customers. Cornwall is currently at the peak of its picking season, which began in mid-December. Throughout our visit, we were provided with comprehensive tours of fields, packhouses, accommodation facilities, farm machinery, and quality control areas, offering us valuable insights into the expansive flower production operations in the region.
For many of our next-generation members, this trip marked their first visit to Cornwall, providing them with a firsthand experience of the scale and operations of Cornish daffodil growers. It was a thoroughly enjoyable trip and we look forward to working with our customers this season.
